How to Grow Your International Food Business in the U.S. Market

Avie Friederwitzer, vice president of sales at Family Food Brokers, held an online webinar in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in July 2020 to talk about the best practices for growing a food business in the United States. Presented to the Global Chamber of Commerce, Avie spoke on what is necessary to bring a product into the United States, including correct packaging in the English language, providing U.S. nutritional facts, proper and consumer friendly graphics and factory certifications. On the business side, companies should have sales reports from the country of origin, access to an export attorney, customs attorney, customs broker, logistics company and warehousing.
